Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LabTools Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

While we strive for accuracy, LabTools Pro is intended as a convenience tool and should not be the sole basis for critical scientific decisions. Users are responsible for:

• Verifying all calculations independently before use in experiments
• Understanding the underlying formulas and their limitations
• Following proper laboratory safety protocols
• Consulting appropriate scientific literature and experts

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or research results
• Failed experiments or wasted reagents
• Errors in calculations or results
• Any decisions made based on the App's output

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

LabTools Pro Premium Subscriptions

LabTools Pro offers the following subscription options to unlock all premium features:

Monthly Subscription

• Price: $2.99 USD per month (or local equivalent)
• Billing: Charged monthly to your Apple ID account
• Free Trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Yearly Subscription

• Price: $19.99 USD per year (or local equivalent)
• Billing: Charged annually to your Apple ID account
• Free Trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Savings: Save 44% compared to monthly subscription

Lifetime Access (One-Time Purchase)

• Price: $39.99 USD (or local equivalent)
• Billing: One-time payment charged to your Apple ID account
• Access: Permanent access to all premium features with no recurring charges
• Restore: Purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device

Free Trial

New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the subscription price.

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select LabTools Pro
5. Choose Cancel Subscription or modify your plan

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

Refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's support channels at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Share your subscription credentials with others
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair it

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Shankar Dutt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Scientific Use Disclaimer

LabTools Pro is designed as a convenience tool for laboratory calculations. Important considerations:

• Always verify critical calculations using multiple methods
• The App uses standard formulas which may not apply to all experimental conditions
• Results should be validated against known standards
• The App is not a substitute for proper scientific training and judgment
• For clinical or diagnostic applications, use validated and certified instruments

Updates and Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
