Terms of Use (End User License Agreement)

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lab Tools Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, academic, or internal research and educational purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement). You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

While we strive for accuracy, Lab Tools Pro is intended as a convenience tool and should not be the sole basis for critical scientific decisions. Users are responsible for:

• Verifying all calculations independently before use in experiments
• Understanding the underlying formulas and their limitations
• Following proper laboratory safety protocols
• Consulting appropriate scientific literature and experts

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or research results
• Failed experiments or wasted reagents
• Errors in calculations or results
• Any decisions made based on the App's output

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Lab Tools Pro Premium Subscriptions

Lab Tools Pro may offer the following options to unlock premium features. Current localized pricing, trial eligibility, and purchase terms are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase.

Monthly Subscription

• Price: Shown in the App Store purchase sheet before confirmation
• Billing: Charged monthly to your Apple ID account
• Free Trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Yearly Subscription

• Price: Shown in the App Store purchase sheet before confirmation
• Billing: Charged annually to your Apple ID account
• Free Trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Lifetime Access (One-Time Purchase)

• Price: Shown in the App Store purchase sheet before confirmation
• Billing: One-time payment charged to your Apple ID account
• Access: Permanent access to all premium features with no recurring charges
• Restore: Purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device

Free Trial

New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the subscription price.

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select Lab Tools Pro
5. Choose Cancel Subscription or modify your plan

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

Refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's support channels at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Share your subscription credentials with others
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair it

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Shankar Dutt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Scientific Use Disclaimer

Lab Tools Pro is designed as a convenience tool for laboratory calculations. Important considerations:

• Always verify critical calculations using multiple methods
• The App uses standard formulas which may not apply to all experimental conditions
• Results should be validated against known standards
• The App is not a substitute for proper scientific training and judgment
• Do not use the App for diagnosis, treatment, patient care, or regulated decision-making

Updates and Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Apple App Store Terms

You acquired the App through the Apple App Store, and the following apply:

• These Terms are between you and DuttLabs only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. Any support questions should be directed to us using the contact details below.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the App or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right (and are deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
